Colourist Reel

Matthieu joined MPC in 2014 from Digital District Paris, with over 12 years experience grading commercials, music videos and feature films. Drawing visual inspiration from photography, his work spans many genres, from the award-winning urban street campaign for adidas’ ‘Unite all Originals’ with SoMe and Sid Lee, to fashion films for Cacharel and Jean Paul Gaultier. He has worked across a range of outstanding projects, with directors including D.A.R.Y.L., Bart Timmer and Jean-Baptiste Mondino. His impressive portfolio of work includes the stunning JAIN ‘Makeba' promo - which collected Music Video of the Year at Victoires de la Musique and was nominated for Best Visual Effects in a Video at UK Music Video Awards;  Come 4: ‘The Lover’ directed by Jeppe Ronde, which was awarded a Gold Lion in Cinematography at Cannes Lions 2013; Juan Cabral’s ‘Ready for Anything’ for Boots No 7;  Alicia Keys, 'A Takeaway Show’; Volvo, 'Human Stories’; Corona 'The Flow’; and a series of French art house-inspired Boursin Film4 idents.
